OSM (Online Scout Manager) is the tool we use to keep everything in our Explorer Scout Unit running smoothly.
It helps us organize programs, track badge progress, manage Camps, and stay connected with you — our amazing Scout families!
✅ Event Planning
We send invites and details for camps, hikes, meetings, and special activities through OSM. You can RSVP easily online.
✅ Badge Tracking
We update your young persons badge progress so you can see their achievements anytime.
✅ Communication
Important messages, updates, and last-minute changes are sent via OSM to keep you informed.
✅ Payments
Payments for camps and activities can be made safely through OSM.
Easy Access
With just one login, you can access all the information you need—whether it's maps, events, or resources. No more juggling multiple accounts!
Secure
OSM takes your privacy seriously. Your personal information is protected, so you can enjoy using the platform without worries.
Up-to-Date
Stay in the loop! OSM ensures that you're always informed about the latest happenings in the Scouts world, whether it's new routes, events, or updates to your area.
To help us stay organized with details, badges, events, and more, we ask all parents to use Online Scout Manager (OSM).
When a space becomes available in the unit, you’ll receive an invite by email with instructions on how to create your OSM account.
You'll be able to register using your email address and gain access to your child's records and upcoming activities.
Once you log in, please make sure to:
Review and update your child’s Personal Details (including address, emergency contacts, medical information, and allergies).
Enter your details under Primary Contact 1 (and Primary Contact 2, if applicable).
(Optional for older Scouts) Add your young person’s email and mobile number under Member Details if you’d like them to receive updates directly.
✅ It’s really important that all Personal Details and Member Details are fully completed so we can keep your young person safe and up to date with everything happening in the Group.
If you have any questions or need a hand setting up OSM, just ask one of the Leaders. We're happy to help!
